A Worship Anthem

 A Testimony from a 21-Day Dry Fast

Sentimental Chords

After a life-transforming 21-day dry fast under the banner “God Answers Warriors,” a special sisterhood of intercessors — five selfless women — joined together to fast and pray for my child. These are not ordinary women; they are vessels of fire, women who know how to tear down strongholds through worship, fasting, and relentless prayer. This sacred assignment gave birth to this song.

The fast marked a new chapter in my spiritual walk. During this intense period of seeking the face of God, I received this song — not as a composition, but as a divine revelation and an outpouring of gratitude. “NITAKUSIFU MILELE” is a song from the altar of my heart. It is my testimony. It is my covenant of praise.

I dedicate this song to the Lord Most High, and with overflowing love to the five women of the “God Answers Prayers” intercessory group — Maureen, Winnie, Sheila, Lucy, and one whose name remains deeply written in heaven’s scroll. You fasted for my child. You prayed when words failed. May the Lord settle you personally. May heaven remember every cry, every groan, every day you sacrificed.

NITAKUSIFU MILELE(I Will Praise You Forever)

Yesu wangu, Mungu wangu ee, nitakusifu, yesu wangu Mungu wangu ee ,nitakuimbia

Mkombozi wangu Yesu aa ee, nitakusifu Mungu (kwa kila hali, milele yote)

These lines reflect a deliberate decision to praise — regardless of circumstances. Like David in Psalm 34:1, the song declares that praise is not just a reaction, but a posture of the heart. Even in pain, uncertainty, or trial, we sing: “Nitakuimbia!”

 (Personal Testimony):

  1. Ulinitoa gizani, ukanipa nuruUkanifuta machozi, ukanijaza furahaKatika bonde la mauti, uliniongozaNitakushukuru Mwokozi, nitatangaza sifa zako!

This verse is your story and the story of many. God rescues, heals, restores, and leads through the darkest valleys (Psalm 23:4). It acknowledges divine intervention and testifies of His goodness — turning mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).

Chorus: Here, the song becomes a vow — a lifetime of praise to a faithful God. Psalm 146:2 mirrors this: “I will praise the Lord all my life.” It’s a personal anthem of love and loyalty to the One who never fails.

 (Who God Is)

2. Wewe ni mwenye rehema (Lamentations 3:22–23)

Wewe ni mwenye nguvu (Psalm 62:11)

Wewe ni wa ajabu, mtukufu (Exodus 15:11)

Utukufu na heshima ni zako (1 Chronicles 29:11)

This is pure exaltation. It shifts the focus from what God has done to who He is. He is merciful, powerful, glorious — attributes that deserve unending praise.

 Declaration (Proclamation):

Nitakushukuru, nitakuinua Nitalitangaza jina lako, miongoni mwa mataifa (Psalm 105:1)

Nitasema Bwana ndiye msaada wangu (Psalm 118:6)

This part affirms the commitment to proclaim God’s name boldly. It’s a spiritual declaration that testifies publicly and stands as a witness to generations.

Highest Praise

Milele na milele jina lako litukuzwe,Jina lako lihimidiwe,Nani kama wewe Yesu?Ntakusifu, unayestahili utukufu wote!

This is heaven’s anthem. It reflects Revelation 5:12 — “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.” When words are not enough, this climax captures reverence and adoration.

Worship cannot be hidden. This closing part releases the praise outward. It declares that God will be exalted everywhere — in testimonies, in cities, in generations.

CALL TO PRAISE

Are you looking for hope in the midst of hardship? Wondering how to overcome fear, grief, or waiting seasons? The answer lies in one divine key: PRAISE.

To the one reading this — maybe you’re tired, maybe you’re in the waiting, maybe you’re overwhelmed — remember this: Praise is your warfare. Praise is your peace. Praise is your power.

What is Praise?

Praise is a powerful act of worship. It’s the verbal, emotional, and spiritual expression of reverence, gratitude, and honor toward God. It declares who God is — not only for what He has done, but for His nature: holy, faithful, merciful, powerful. It is how we enthrone God in our lives (Psalm 22:3). Praise heals, renews, and aligns our hearts with heaven.

Does God Love Praise?

Absolutely. God delights in the praises of His people. He created us to glorify Him (Isaiah 43:21). When we praise, we invite His presence, shift the atmosphere, and release divine miracles. Praise honors God and empowers the believer.

What Does Praise Do?

Silences the enemy (Psalm 8:2)

Breaks chains (Paul & Silas – Acts 16)

Releases healing (Proverbs 17:22)

Brings joy & strength (Nehemiah 8:10)

Opens doors of breakthrough

When Should One Praise?

In sorrow — like David in Psalm 13

In victory — like Miriam and Moses after the Red Sea

In waiting — like Hannah

In suffering — like Job

At all times — because He is always worthy

Who Praised God in the Bible?

David with his harp and heart

Paul and Silas in prison

Hannah after receiving her child

Jehoshaphat’s army with worship as their weapon (2 Chronicles 20)

Real Life Testimony

A Praise That Births MiraclesThis song, “Nitakusifu Milele,” was birthed because five women — warriors of prayer — praised, fasted, and interceded. They didn’t pray for themselves. They prayed for my child. They chose praise over panic, worship over worry. Their praise created an atmosphere of miracles.

I’ve seen God turn darkness into light. I’ve felt tears wiped by divine hands. I’ve seen mourning replaced with dancing. This is not just a song — it is living proof that God inhabits the praises of His people.

Let “Nitakusifu Milele” be your anthem of hope and praise.

Speak it in your home. Sing it in your car. Whisper it through your tears. Shout it from the rooftop. Let your praise lead you from fear to faith, from ashes to beauty, from silence to testimony.

He is worthy — yesterday, today, and forever.

“I will praise You forever, my God and King.”

“Warfare Through Worship”

Let this devotional time be your altar. You may pray aloud, sing along to the song, journal, or kneel in worship — whatever posture, let it be heartfelt.

Thanksgiving

Heavenly Father, thank You for life, for breath, for waking me up today. Thank You for carrying me through the storms I thought would break me. I praise You for every silent miracle, every answered and unanswered prayer that shaped me. I worship You for being a faithful God — even when I doubted, You remained true.

Praise and Worship

Lord, I lift Your name high. You are Jehovah Jireh, my Provider; El Shaddai, my Strength; Jehovah Nissi, my Banner. As I sing Nitakusifu Milele, may the heavens echo this praise. May my song rise as incense before Your throne. Let my voice join the angels in adoration. You are worthy!

Repentance and Surrender

Forgive me, Lord, for the times I complained instead of praised, for when I feared more than I trusted, for when I leaned on my own understanding. Today, I surrender all — my plans, my worries, my past, my future. Let Your will be done in my life as it is in heaven. Cleanse my heart and renew a right spirit within me.

Intercession

Father, I bring before You every person reading this, every listener of this song. Let their hearts be stirred with fresh fire for You. Bless Maureen, Winnie, Sheila, Lucy, and the unnamed warrior — reward their secret sacrifice. Surround my family and my nation with Your divine protection. Let revival sweep through homes, churches, and communities.

Declarations and Decrees

I declare that I will praise the Lord all my life (Psalm 146:2). I decree that joy shall overflow in my home. I declare I am walking in victory, for no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). I decree that chains are breaking, doors are opening, and the heavens are responding to my praise. I am blessed, covered, anointed, and set apart!

Soaking and Listening

Now, Holy Spirit, I wait on You. Speak, for Your servant is listening. Whisper Your plans, reveal Your heart. Flood my spirit with peace. Show me the next step. I write down what I hear, trusting You to lead me as I go. I receive visions, dreams, and a divine word in this stillness. Fill me afresh.

Let this be more than a song. Let it be your life’s anthem. Praise opens doors, softens hearts, rebukes fear, and draws heaven near. Sing it, speak it, live it.

“I will praise You forever, my God and King.”
